"Bend It Like Beckham"

Last Friday we watched the movie "Bend It Like Beckham".
I hope you enjoyed the film because I know that football is your favourite sport.

Now I would like to know what your point of view on these issues?

*What do you think about the girls, Jess and Jules? Why are they playing football?  Are they different?  Do they have the same goals?
*Are their families different? Are their families agree on something? What do they think about  the proper things that young women must do? Are you agree with them?
*Why Jules and Jess wanted to play football in US? Football in US isn't the same sport called football in Europe. How do they say "football" in US?
*Would you go to see a match between two women's football teams?
Do you know how many girls there are in our school who play football on a team?

You can write your answers and opinions in "comentarios". If you do it, you will have a reward, It'll be larger if you write in English

No lo entiendo en inglés

Rudolph: the value of the difference

Rudolph's Story makes us to think about. Sometimes we do the same with the people who are different from us. However this story shows that the difference is good. If all the reindeers had had their noses one colour, Santa would have not delivered on time all the toys that Christmas. What do you think about?

Left and Right

Lauren, our language assistant, is teaching us this song. It is very funny and we can practise with it the movements with our left or right parts.
You can see this video, while we recording our own version

Lyrics:
Mother Gooney Bird has seven chicks,
and seven chicks has Mother Gooney Bird.
And they couldn't swim...No
and they couldn't fly... No
All they did was go like this

  • Rihgt arm
  • Left arm
  • Right foot
  • Left foot
  • Nod your head
  • Turn around
  • Sit down
